We are partnersin the projectPilotinncities
This is about creating modern innovation ecosystems for municipalities and regions using the “Agile Piloting” methodology from Finland. In short, instead of one large pilot project, several small pilot projects are launched in parallel. This is not only more efficient, but also more resilient in the event of difficulties arising in one of the pilot projects. Continuous knowledge transfer between projects results in rapid learning effects and thus an agile project structure.
The project, which is led by the Czech Ministry of Economy, is funded by the EU as part of the Interreg Danube programme. In cooperation with ten other partners from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Romania and Germany, innovative partnerships between companies, universities, municipalities and civil society will be established in the coming months and years to promote smart city solutions. This creates a diverse exchange and discourse between the various actors, which leads to joint development adapted to local needs, which takes into account all relevant perspectives and enables knowledge transfer in the local ecosystem. This collaborative dynamic has proven to be crucial for transformative processes in municipalities and regions.
The Center for Digital Development acts as a strategic advisor within this project and ensures that the proposed measures and regulations for the agile piloting framework in the Danube region can be implemented in a practice-oriented manner.
