URBIS in Brno (Czech Republic) is becoming a must-attend event for the European smart city and smart region scene. Of course, we will be on site from 10 to 12 June and not only scout the most exciting trends from research and practice, but also become active ourselves. On the one hand, our INTERREG project “PilotInnCities” will be presented on site at the booth of the Czech Republic as part of a panel on the topic of living labs, with a particular focus on the latest experiences from the first Open Call for Smart Region pilot projects in the Danube region. On the other hand, our Managing Director Georg Würffel, founder of the ZDE Academy and expert in the field of smart city training, will take part in a panel on this very topic. The demand for digital competence is higher than ever, and new solutions are needed.
