The federal elections are over, the new economic stimulus package is in place – now the decisive phase begins: acting strategically, recognising digital opportunities and exploiting them in a targeted manner. This is precisely where the GEO.DIGITAL digital symposium comes in.

Under the title ‘Digital Restart after the Election: Smart Cities, Subsidies & Public Procurement Law,’ participants can expect a diverse programme with in-depth insights, concrete practical examples and plenty of opportunity for exchange. Together with representatives from ministries, local authorities and municipal utilities, we will examine how the digital transformation can be actively and successfully shaped under the current conditions.

What to expect:

First-hand keynote speeches

Whether it’s political frameworks, new funding programmes or practical reports: high-profile speakers from ministries, local authorities and municipal utilities show how digitalisation can be successfully implemented in practice – in a well-founded, up-to-date manner and with direct reference to local implementation.

Interactive panel discussion

Join the discussion! In our moderated roundtable, we bring together different perspectives – and invite you to actively contribute your opinions, questions and experiences.

Practical best practices

What makes a digital project successful? We present successful examples from municipal practice – with concrete insights that you can directly apply to your situation.

Networking – digital and effective

Take advantage of this opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues from the industry. Meet new contacts and strengthen existing relationships – easily and purposefully.

„Ask us Anything“ session

Here, your questions take centre stage: our experts answer your specific queries directly – openly, practically and on equal terms.

Moderation with vision

Dimitri Ravin, editor of Urban Digital and a proven expert at the interface of urban development, digitalisation and communication, will guide us through the morning. With his keen sense for relevant topics and diverse perspectives, he creates the perfect setting for informative exchanges and lively discussions.

Our speakers

Hear from practitioners, politicians and those with experience in implementation. Our speakers bring with them in-depth expertise, different perspectives and a wealth of practical experience – providing a comprehensive and realistic insight into the opportunities offered by digitalisation.

Why we are hosting this symposium

‘We believe that sharing knowledge and experience is the key to successfully overcoming the challenges of the future. This digital symposium offers an excellent platform for discussing practical solutions, learning from each other and strengthening important networks. Our goal is to provide impetus that has a lasting effect and creates real added value – for local authorities, municipal utilities and the entire industry.’
